'Danny was pretty clear from the day he arrived that he came to find out who killed his brother and deal with those people accordingly,' recalls his portrayer, Paul Anthony Stewart. But upon learning of Mick's vile actions leading up to his death, he couldn't bring himself to kill Michelle.

The only way for Danny to keep Michelle alive was by making her his wife. To the surprise of their loved ones, they announced their marriage. 'She had no choice,' claims Joie Lenz (Michelle). 'She didn't have any time to think about cause and effect.'

And thus began the marriage of Danny and Michelle Santos. Three years later, we look back and remember the journey-- and what an amazing journey it was.
